Mount Vernon Canyon Club is a beautiful wedding venue in Golden, CO. It has a beautiful deck overlooking the mountains, canyon, and the city of Denver. Olivia and Aaron tied the knot in a beautiful morning ceremony. The sun was shining brightly but with the perfect amount of wind it wasn’t too hot for their guests to enjoy the day. They got ready at a nearby hotel in the quaint little town of Golden. We didn’t have enough time to leave the club for romantic photos so we made do on the deck.
If you’re having your wedding at the Mount Vernon Canyon Club here are a few tips to help you during your planning. If you’re having a morning ceremony in the summer know that the sun will be in your face during it. You may end up a little squinty, and with harsh shadows on you during your ceremony. You can always pray for a little bit of cloud coverage to help ease these morning ceremony symptoms. The getting ready rooms for both the bride and the groom are very small. Just keep that in mind if you plan to get dressed in there. There isn’t much room for many people in the getting ready space. Finally, be sure to give yourselves, and your photographer, plenty of time to take you off site for some romantic photos! The views are fantastic from the deck but if you go on a little adventure outside the venue you’ll be able to have some forestry in your photos AND have those beautiful mountain views. So be sure to block out space in your timeline to be able to make that happen.
