This fun outdoor headshot session featuring one of my awesome colleagues was simply perfect. We headed up the hill to Red Rocks to snag a few shots of each other. One of the good things about having other photographer friends is getting to hang out and taking each other’s photos. There are many gorgeous views at Red Rocks but it was mid day and we needed shade so we went to the outpost. We didn’t want to be there long so I used a quick lighting setup. We moved quickly around the building trying to use our shaded space as well as possible. I was using a powerful pocket flash, the amazing Godox AD200, so we were able to finish off the session in the full sunlight. I really wanted to get a few shots of Lisa showcasing the infamous Red Rocks. The AD200 and Magsphere made shooting in full midday sun possible.
