Destinee and Josh tied the knot at the Vista at Applewood Golf Course in July. It was a warm summer Colorado day that came with the typical scattered thunderstorms. We had moments of rain that, at one point, made family pictures a bit of a struggle. But everyone was in wonderful spirits so the rain didn’t stop the party or the fun. The ceremony was a warm one but it was filled with love. Destiness looked like a princess in her fairytale and Josh her prince. The night ended with lots of dancing and laughter as all their closest friends stayed until the end of the night.
The Vista at Applewood Golf Course is a wonderful venue. It has rooms for both the bride and groom to get ready separately. The ballroom has views looking out over the golf course with the mountains in the distance; making sunset a thing of wonder for guests during the reception. Because of the earlier lightning ending all the rounds of golf early, we were able to take a golf cart out on the course unattended for photos during sunset. The night ended with a glow stick send off that was super fun. It was my first glow stick send off but I think I did pretty well.
