Meet Nat, Your Mountain Adventure Expert

I’ve hiked over 1,500 miles in Colorado and photographed more than 200 elopements and intimate weddings across the Rockies. I’m a Wilderness First Responder, so safety is always my priority — and I bring all that expertise to help couples plan epic, authentic experiences.
While I love the San Juan Mountains (my future home!), I specialize in mountain elopements anywhere in Colorado — from alpine lakes and 12ers to ski resorts, waterfalls, and hidden 4×4 trails.
I’m here to guide you through an immersive day — from planning locations, vendors, and timelines, to helping you feel at ease on the trail, slope, or summit. Every moment is captured naturally, candidly, and beautifully.
“If National Geographic did weddings, Nat would be the photographer.”
a few ways to celebrate your love in mountain time

Hiking & Backpacking Elopements
Exploring together is incredibly bonding and such a fun & intimate way to get married. It’s always a good way to spend a day. Being surrounded by giant mountains makes you feel so free and small but in the best possible way. Plus, getting into the backcountry opens up so many more unique and epic locations. You can hike, backpack, or hire an outfitter for a horse pack trip to make it an extra special trip.

Skiing & Snowboarding Elopements
I’ve been snowboarding for 30 years and it’s by far the coolest thing I know how to do. I skied as a tiny person before that. I taught for a season at a small, local mountain here in Colorado. I got a split-board recently and can’t wait to add backcountry skinning elopements to my repertoire. So powder-chasing couples who want to shred in their wedding attire are purely badass in my opinion. Plus it gets you some of the best winter views you can access without a hike.

4x4ing + Anything Water Elopements
4x4ing is like going on a really hard hike to a super gorgeous spot, except you don’t have to carry any of the stuff or sweat at all. Taking you to places that are out of this world and rarely reached without a hike. You can 4×4 your SUP or kayak to a beautiful blue lake nestled amongst giant peaks. A lifted 4×4 vehicle really opens you up the backcountry to you in such a big way. And some professional tour operators can take all the stress off by driving and providing a backcountry meal!
“Nat is AMAZING! If you love the outdoors and want someone who can capture an adventure session or an elopement she is the one to go to! She hiked up in freezing temps to captured our sunrise elopement with our dogs in Summit County and it was beyond perfect! She makes you feel no pressure and captures your adventure all the way through beautifully.”
Emma & Garrett – Loveland Pass Elopement
I’m here for you.
I help take the stress from planning and from having your photo taken. I help you plan a unique elopement experience for you two and the special loved ones you wish to include. And I foster a safe space for you to just get to be yourselves, enjoy each other, and take in the beautiful & epic scenery.

What you get…

A Tailored Elopement Experience
You both deserve to have an experience tailored to your personality, lifestyle, and love story. I also send you personalized vendor recommendations and a hand-crafted timeline. No way you can be stressed when you have a new bestie who specializes in all things intimate weddings and Colorado adventures.

Laid back, Candid and Fun Photography
Your elopement day isn’t meant to be a boring all-day photoshoot. Let me rephrase; it should not be an all-day photoshoot. You elope to escape the stress, anxiety, and pressure of a big wedding. That’s exactly how your photo experience will be. Laid back, fun, and candid. My aim is to help you craft a day you’re excited & prepared for so that no matter what happens it’s an amazing experience where you two can focus on each other.

Unlimited Elopement & Adventure Expertise
I’ve photographed over 200 weddings and elopements in Colorado since 2014. I’ve hiked over 1500 miles with hundreds of thousands of feet of elevation gain. And an unreal amount of adventures. I’m Wilderness First Responder certified. I use my expertise to help you craft an epic elopement experience from start to finish, for all involved. Taking away a big chunk of the stress that can come with planning.

Kailey & Brante
Let me start off by saying she made this BY FAR the easiest, most memorable fun day for my husband and me. We have never been to Colorado before and we decided to elope in the mountains 🏔! SHE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR US! She had drinks in the car ready to go for hydration, she gave us advice on how to deal with the altitude difference – we’re from Louisiana. She was very professional and encouraging! Super easy to talk to and get along with! I felt like I had known her forever! She is definitely worth the investment!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!
Breckenridge Elopement

Cate & Ben
Natalie did an absolutely incredible job for my elopement. Day of she drove up a dirt road with my partner and hiked a bit, then helped me trek down a muddy and slippery slope multiple times during the day to ensure we had no issues while getting all the amazing pictures. The light was harsh with some crazy shadows and she kept all that in mind while shooting. I fully recommend her, the photos turned out incredibly breathtaking.
Piney River Trail Elopement

Robert & Alli
Working with her has been such an incredible experience. She is so friendly, down to earth, hilarious, and extremely knowledgeable of great locations! We picked out a really cool remote location but unfortunately we found out that the road to get there was closed literally the day before we were to get married.. So we reached out to Nat and she helped us find an even better location right away! She took all the anxiety away immediately. We got our sneaks back the next day and they are way better than anything I could’ve imagined. These pictures are absolutely incredible, I’m in awe. I highly recommend you use Nat as your photographer!!

Nope! Even my lift ticket for whatever ski resort you choose in Colorado is covered in your collection!
I can shred most black and double black diamonds on good snow days with my gear. My favorite terrains are the bowls and tree runs with powder. I’m capable on almost any terrain I just might not be able to take photos while I shred on some of it.
Booking your vendors, travel, lodging, and activities in a local area is something you have to do on your own. But I do recommend local vendors, unique lodging, and local activity ideas.
No. If you have special decor you’d like to use for your intimate ceremony, dinner, picnic, etc, I suggest you hire a day of coordinator to set those things up for you while you enjoy your elopement day.
I provide 20-50 sneak peeks within 24-48 hours.
Yes, for an additional $1000 you can receive your full gallery within 3 weeks of your elopement day.
Yes. My travel and lodging costs for Colorado are included in the above-listed package prices. If you are traveling out of Colorado, contact me for a custom quote! Some locations I don’t charge a travel fee for as they’re either on my Bucket list!
Do you get our wedding permit for us? necessary wedding permits required to get married on the land.
No, if you are hiking or skiing those costs are covered by me. But if you want to do a private tour of any kind, like snowmobiling, hot air balloon ride, or private Jeep tour then you will need to cover the cost it would be for me to join.
