Alpine Lake Ice Skating Elopement | Colorado Adventure Elopement Photographer
Kelsey & Eric got married in a private ceremony in the courthouse. But they celebrated it in my favorite way, with an adventure in the mountains. A winter ice skating elopement style adventure to be exact. Her mother and grandmother joined for a moment to capture some photos with the beautiful couple. Kelsey is a lifelong ice skater so it was her dream to get to ice skate in her dress. I knew we had to go high in elevation to get safely frozen lake ice. It was only late November but we had been having some super low temps so I knew heading up to at least 12,000 feet elevation we could find ice thick enough to skate on. They also wanted to be able to bring Kelsey’s mother and grandmother for a few photos before heading off of a cold adventure. Loveland Pass is the perfect place to get those epic Colorado mountain views without having to walk far from the car.
Kelsey’s Dress is Lilian West from Dani West Bridal in Erie, Colorado. Their bouquet and boutonniere is by Bouquet Boutique Inc in Broomfield. Eric’s suit is from Comtatent Gentlemen.
