Winter Adventure Elopement in Colorado | Loveland Pass | Kelsey & Eric

Bride and groom walk together above a frozen alpine lake in Colorado after their winter adventure elopement

Kelsey & Eric got married in a private ceremony in the courthouse before heading out for their winter adventure elopement in Colorado to celebrate their union. They were hoping to find a frozen alpine lake thick enough for Kelsey to ice skate on in her wedding dress. It was only late November but we had been having some super low temps so I knew heading up to at least 12,000 feet elevation we could find ice thick enough to skate on. They also wanted to be able to bring Kelsey’s mother and grandmother for a few photos before heading off of a cold adventure. Loveland Pass is the perfect place to get those epic Colorado mountain views without having to walk far from the car.

To help with planning your Winter Adventure in Colorado check out my How to Winter Mountain Adventure Guide and my Colorado Adventure Elopement and Mountain Wedding Guide!

Garden of the Gods always showin’ out. The more Garden of the Gods always showin’ out. The more I get to explore this park, the more I fall in love with it. It’s no wonder why so many couples choose to elope or have their engagement photos here. 😍
I’ve had such the amazing day! I ate it on my sn I’ve had such the amazing day! I ate it on my snowboard two weeks ago and it totally jacked my back up but I’ve been ever so lazy and didn’t make it to the chiropractor until today. But I was able to get in for a last minute massage this morning so I was nice and loose for the chiro to do their thing. It feels so good!! Plus I’ve gotten a ton of work done over the last few days and that always feels good.

Oh and, the internet went down at all the businesses when I was between my massage and chiro and I got my frozen yogurt fo free!💥

Have you had a productive week so far? Or are you taken it easy and need some rest? Both are perfectly acceptable and okay!! Sometimes we literally need down time. And if that means skipping things, then skip em!
There is something about the storytelling feeling There is something about the storytelling feeling you get from posting continuous images. It’s neat how scrolling and altering image sizes tells the story so differently than just images all cropped to the same size posted individually.

Imagine this feeling tangibly as you scroll through a beautiful album that playfully tells the story of your day. 🥰 i think this is why albums are the dreamiest way to preserve and look back on your day. Because images aren’t just put in but curated to tell the story in the most photojournalist and eye catching way.
Best time to shoot in the streets and hotel lobby Best time to shoot in the streets and hotel lobby & bars in downtown Denver... at 1am! 🤪 I’m down for whatever kind of adventure you can dream of. Anywhere, anytime, it’s whatever for your love.

We had the run of the place at hotel @teatrodenver and we took full advantage. We grabbed a drink and finished the night relaxing in the bar. 😎
