When Allison and Dave reached out to me they had recently gotten engaged and bought a little farm in Lyons, Colorado together. They wanted to have a backyard elopement on their new farm with just the two of them. They knew they wanted to get married with the gorgeous Colorado views they now had in their backyard. They inherited a few dogs with the land and wanted to incorporate their new pups in their day, too. They had a favorite spot on their property where they enjoyed their coffees every morning and often a campfire in the evening. It was where they hung their hammock and had gorgeous mountain views in the distance. They basically had every aspect planned out and I couldn’t have been more excited to jump in to help them finish it off! They wanted to incorporate their 4-wheeler that they used to get around on their land. As well as their tear drop that they took to concerts and festivals. They had met at a Phish concert and Allison even had custom Phish Jordan sneaks made to wear with her dress.
They had all these new and old elements of their relationship that they wanted to incorporate into their day. It was really beautiful to see their new adventure unfolding in front of my eyes.
