In-home newborn lifestyle sessions are some of my favorites. You don’t have to leave the comfort of your home. You may just want to tidy it up a little bit but that always feel good afterwards anyways. Being in your home brings a new level of intimacy to the session. It’s warm, it’s loving, it’s cozy, it’s home. Your dogs can stay relaxed and calm. Everything is more natural and relaxed in your home.

Before the session, we’ll chat about the layout of your home and the direction of light to figure out what time of day might be best and what rooms in your home would be best. I love of families use either the nursery or master bedroom, or both. But there really isn’t a space in your home that doesn’t work for these.

I travel across Colorado for in-home newborn lifestyle sessions as well as family lifestyle sessions.

I’ve known Mae’s parents for several years now. I documented their engagement, wedding and now, their newborn photos. 🙂 And what a dream they are. They invited me into their home to document a little snippet of life for them as a new family of three + two of the cutest and sweetest pups.

These sweet sweet moments are where I know I’ll never stop photographing families. I look at these sessions as little your little adventures. Your brand new babe is certainly going to be an adventure. I don’t believe adventure is reserved solely for the great outdoors. Every special moment of your life deserves to be documented.
