Hudson Gardens Event Center Wedding
An Untraditional & Laidback Wedding with Boho Vibes
This Hudson Gardens Event Center wedding is the perfect display of free spirits and trust in your wedding vendors. Kelsy & Matthew wanted a wedding that fit their laid back, fun spirits. Weddings traditions didn’t speak to their hearts so they opted to celebrate in ways that truly spoke to their hearts. They were so chill about everything that they had their amazing planner handle booking all the vendors. I didn’t meet or speak to them until I arrived to photograph Kelsy getting ready on the day of the wedding.
They were married at Monet’s Place and the Pavilion at Hudson Gardens. Kelsy & Matthew hired a pedicab to bring all their guests from the parking lot to Monet’s Place where the ceremony was. They had floral crowns and boutonnieres made for every guest to wear. Then they were brought into their ceremony via pedicab to walk down the aisle together. And to keep with the non-traditional aspect they didn’t have a first dance or parent dances but instead did a first corn hole game with against each other on teams with their mother and father. It was just perfect for my candid, and untraditional loving photographer heart.
