This magical adventure anniversary session was everything I’ve ever dreamed about and so much more. When all the stars align making magic and memories with your clients comes with such lightheartedness. I’m forever grateful for every opportunity to create with my couples.
I met up with Sydney and Kyle for their 2nd anniversary session with me. Each year it just keeps getting more and more magical, too. I’m not sure I can imagine anything more magical than their 2nd though. I’m giddy to attempt to top this session and can’t wait to start dreaming of their next anniversary adventure with them!
We started at the top of the pass for sunrise and made our way down to explore on some trails. Every bit of Fall was popping off as Kyle twirled Sydney on a road overlooking Mount Bierstadt with large light streaks shining down over the mountain.
Guanella Pass | Colorado Adventure Couples Photographer
Guanella Pass is a super popular area for it’s well-known 14er, Mount Bierstadt. Mount Bierstadt is the closest 14er to Denver. So it gets a ton of foot traffic in the early mornings from folks wanting to summit. If you want a bit less of a crowd sunset is a better time to visit. Most people who frequent Guanella Pass are either day visitors driving through or folks hiking in the area. Which means, usually by sunset everyone is gone. There are some awesome roads you can explore along the pass. They would make for the perfect backdrops or spots for a camping elopement!
